On or about June 24, 2024, an employee engaged in residential carpentry activities was exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic nail gun without eye protection.  b. On or about June 24, 2024, an employee engaged in residential carpentry activities was exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a portable circular hand saw without eye protection.  Boston Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1667722, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 11305 171st, Orland Park, IL 60467.   Boston Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1492929, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 391 Western Ave. Clarendon Hills, IL 60514.

On or about June 24, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite,  an employee performing carpentry activities on roof twelve (12) feet and six (6) inches above the ground was not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.  b. On or about June 24, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite,  an employee performing carpentry activities on the second floor window twelve (12) feet and six (6) inches above the ground was not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.  Boston Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1667722, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 11305 171st, Orland Park, IL 60467.
