(a) Back office entry area, on or about July 1, 2024 and at times Prior thereto: Employees were exposed to expired buffed aspirin, Pur-wash, 98.3% ophthalmic solution eye wash, antacid, cold medication, and pain reliever located in the first aid kit, for First-Aid use in the event of emergency exposure to pain or discomfort, which could lessen the effectiveness of the medication to treat employee's condition, potentially causing ineffective treatment results.

29 CFR 1910.1200(j)(2)(ii): The employer did not update their written hazard communication program required by paragraph (h)(1) by June 1, 2016 to reflect changes in labeling and safety data sheets. (a) Back entry office area, on or about July 1, 2024 and at times prior thereto: Employer did not ensure current version copy of the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) of every hazardous chemical, stored or used in the workplace was readily available to all employees when they were in the work area, so the employees could immediately access the required information in contained in SDS, such as the selection of appropriate control methods and protective equipment and in case of an emergency, the first-aid treatment.
