29 CFR 1910.107(h)(9):Fail-safe controls. Electrostatic apparatus shall be equipped with automatic controls which will operate without time delay to disconnect the power supply to the high voltage transformer and to signal the operator under any of the following conditions as referenced in 1910.107(h)(9)(i) - 1910.107(h)(9)(iv): (a) On or about July 9th, 2024, the employer did not implement the use of the spark detection system that was installed within the Gema systems powder coating booth.
