Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were not stored in closed containers, or in storage tanks above ground outside of buildings, or underground in accordance with paragraph (b) of this section:  On or about July 15, 2024, and at times prior where storage tanks were used indoors to receive, blend, store, and distribute up to an approximate total of 2000 gallons of Premium Wash -25 (Methyl alcohol 37.5%, Cas # 67-56-1, category 3 flammable liquid) adjacent to general use electrical, potential ignition sources, and in absence of adequate tank venting exposing employees to potential fire hazards.

29 CFR  1910.106(f)(6): Sources of ignition. Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), shall not be handled, drawn, or dispensed where flammable vapors may reach a source of ignition. Smoking shall be prohibited except in designated localities. "No Smoking" signs shall be conspicuously posted where hazard from flammable liquid vapors is normally present.  On or about July 15, 2024, and at times prior where storage tanks were used indoors to receive, blend, store and distribute up to an approximate total of 2000 gallons of Premium Wash -25 (Methyl alcohol 37.5%, Cas # 67-56-1, category 3 flammable liquid) adjacent to general use electrical, potential ignition sources, and in absence of adequate tank venting exposing employees to potential fire hazards.
