29 CFR 1910.138(b):The employer did not base selection of appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the tasks to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and potential hazards identified: a) Darpro Storage Solutions, LLC located at 1089 County Road 26, Marengo, Ohio, 43334: On or about July 1, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that employees tasked with operating the Roller machine were provided appropriate hand protection while manually feeding "skins" into the machine. Employees were provided loose fitting leather gloves during Roller machine operations which contributed to caught-in hazards at or near the point of operation.
