29 CFR 1926.1412(d)(1): Visual inspections were not performed by a competent person prior to each shift for apparent deficiencies of the equipment that was used: a) New residential construction on Lot 78-E: On or about 7/10/2024, the employer exposed employees to potential struck-by hazards, in that the employer did not ensure the crane received an inspection prior to hoisting roof trusses in close proximity to employees engaged in framing activities. A daily inspection of the crane was not conducted.
