Employees were observed using a ladder on a sloped roof, approximately 11 feet above the ground level, while attempting to paint a higher portion of the roof.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(12): Ladders used where the employee or the ladder could contact exposed energized electrical equipment did not have nonconductive side rails: Location: Side house roof a) On or about 7/11/24, the employer did not ensure that employees were using ladders to access a lower roof that had non-conductive side rails. An aluminum ladder was used to access a roof near electrical lines that provide power to the house.
