29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Fall Protection. Personal fall arrest systems when stopping a fall shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level. On or about July 11, 2024, at 419 Donald Driver Way in Green Bay, Wisconsin, employees were exposed to potential hazard of striking lower surface working from aerial lifts 10 to 13 feet above surface level without following manufacturer's recommendations in the installation and use of fall protection equipment. Personal fall arrest systems were used with configuration of 17 feet fall distance.
