29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: At the workplace located at 650 South Webb Road, Wichita, Kansas 67207, employee(s) engaged in automobile body maintenance activities were exposed to fire, explosion or projectile hazards in that compressed gas cylinders, that were not in use, were not secured to prevent damage in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965. Two compressed gas, N.O.S. cylinders and one oxygen, compressed cylinder were observed stored near the open, large bay doors at the southeast corner of the body shop of the facility without being secured from accidental displacement.

The employer does not ensure that employee(s) handling these hazardous chemicals are using eye protection to protect from severe eye irritation and/or damage.
