OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when maneuvering large sheets of glass to chamfer interior surfaces prior to tempering. 40 Knight Street Watertown, CT - preparation table. On or about July 9, 2024 an employee was injured when he was struck in the lower leg by an insufficiently supported sheet of glass. At the time of the incident, the employee was manipulating the sheet in preparation to chamfer an inner cutout when the unsupported section of the sheet fractured.
