OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a forklift without wearing a seatbelt. (a) Warehouse at 617 George Washington Highway, Lincoln, RI: On or about 07-15-2024, employees were exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while operating the Nissan 40 and Hyster 40 powered industrial trucks without wearing a seatbelt. The employer did not enforce employees to wear a seat belt when operating a powered industrial truck.
