29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: (Construction Reference 1926.103)  (a) On or about July 16, 2024, approximately 12:00pm,2000 Ridgecrest Ct, Southeast Washington, D.C. Building 2110 Second Floor Rear Apartment, an employee was overserved voluntarily wearing N95 Respirator without employer providing a copy of Appendix D in accordance with Standard.  Employer exposed employees to respiratory health issues by not informing employees of hazards associated with voluntary respirator usage.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
