29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of American National Standards Institute, B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care and Protection of Abrasive Wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. On or about, and times prior thereto, July 17, 2024, on the south side of the worksite, employees utilized a handheld grinder without a guard while grinding rebar during road construction.
