29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  At the jobsite located at 6206 Roberts Street, Shawnee Kansas, employees engaged in residential roofing activities with the use of air compressor, pneumatic nail guns, ladders were exposed to struck by and fall hazards in that the employees were not instructed in the recognition of construction hazards and the methods to mitigate those hazards. The employer did not provide hazard recognition training for employees performing roofing activities including, but not limited to how and when to use fall protection equipment, safety glasses, hard hats, how to set up ladder properly.
