(LP-Gas Cylinders) (a) ATV storage building, On July 15, 2024, employees were working in the building adjacent to the ATV storage building which contained LP-gas cylinders which were surrounded by wood, debris, and materials that pose a potential fire hazard.

29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(i): Containers in storage were not located so as to minimize exposure to excessive temperature rise, physical damage, or tampering by unauthorized persons. (a) ATV Storage Building, On July 15, 2024, employees were working in the adjacent building exposed to a potential fire and explosion hazard from LP-gas cylinders which were stored on uneven ground. The LP-gas cylinders were not stored in a secure manner and one cylinder had an ATV ramp stacked against it.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials, a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour. (a) Maintenance garage, On July 15, 2024, employees were exposed to a fire hazard while organizing equipment. Oxygen and acetylene were stored within approximately 3-feet of multiple 5-gallon gasoline cans.
