29 CFR  1910.212(a)(5): Fan blade guards, where the periphery of the blades was less than seven feet above the floor or working level, had openings larger than one half inch:  a)New Angus, LLC dba DemKota Ranch Beef at 13 135th Street, Aberdeen, SD 57401: On or about and at times prior to July 24, 2024,  the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from caught-in and amputation hazards created by the rotation of the cooling fan on the Rotoscreen Pump 2 Motor, in that the fan cover was damaged and displaced.  This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards associated with the unguarded fan blades.
