29 CFR 1910.1450(e)(1): Where hazardous chemicals were used in the workplace, the employer did not develop and carry out the provisions of a written Chemical Hygiene Plan which was capable of protecting employees from health hazards associated with hazardous chemicals. On or about July 24, 2024, at the Manley Gas testing laboratory, the employer failed to effectively implement the written Chemical Hygiene Plan to protect employees from the hazards associated to the storage, handling and use of hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to pentane, while processing hydrocarbon fluid samples coming from the oil field and processing plant.
