29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a. On or about August 6, 2024, an employee was exposed to unguarded nip points on but not limited to the H-11 press brake between the ram and the die when the machine is in operation.   b. An employee is exposed to a nip point while feeding the wire and adjusting it throughout the shift on mechanical power press 2 Line 6 . The wire is fed into the curler on the machine and then closes and completes the hinge.  No abatement or documentation is required for this citation.
