On or about August 5, 2024, at the back exit route, U.S. Postal Service Marina Station, Mayaguez, PR - employees were exposed to struck by hazard caused by the placement of a hazardous material cabinet within an exit discharge of the building. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

On or about August 5, 2024, at one of the exits on the main work floor, U.S. Postal Service-Marina Station, Mayaguez, PR - employees were exposed to, in the event of an emergency, a delayed egress from an exit discharge door with an "Exit" sign not illuminated. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
