29 CFR 1926.416(a)(3):Before work is begun the employer did not ascertain by inquiry or direct observation, or by instruments, whether any part of an energized electric power circuit, exposed or concealed, is so located that the performance of the work may bring any person, tool, or machine into physical or electrical contact with the electric power circuit. The employer did not post and maintain proper warning signs where such a circuit exists. The employer did not advise employees of the location of such lines, the hazards involved, and the protective measures to be taken: Location: 1525 Harbor Blvd. Weehawken NJ 07086 / Second Floor - Unit 4234. a: The employer marked out the locations for where core drilling was to be completed by another contractor by using a plan with no specific dimensions for the location of the electrical conduit. An employee suffered an electrocution after becoming in contact with a live, 120V electrical conduit while using a core drill. Violation occurred on or about July 25, 2024.
