29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Jobsite located at 2061-63 N 62ND St, Philadelphia, PA - On or about August 2, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were trained to recognize fall hazards. Employees were performing framing and plumbing work on the second floor of a new, multi-unit residential building near wall openings not equipped with guardrails, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet. b) Jobsite located at 2061-63 N 62ND St, Philadelphia, PA - On or about August 2, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were trained to recognize fall hazards. Employees were performing framing and plumbing work on the second floor of a new, multi-unit residential building where access to the elevator shaft did not have proper guardrails, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet.

Employees were required to access the second story of a new residential building using wooden stairways that were not equipped with handrails, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.
