29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2):(2) The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. a. On or about August 5, 2024, the floors in the kitchen were not kept in a clean and dry condition, which exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards from the regular accumulation of water. b. On or about August 5, 2024, the floors in the refrigerated/frozen storage sections of the restaurant were not kept in a clean and dry condition, which exposed employees to slip, trip, and fall hazards from the accumulation of ice along the seal of the malfunctioning freezer door.

Where there is only one exit access leading to an exit or exit discharge, the width of the exit and exit discharge must be at least equal to the width of the exit access. a. On or about August 5, 2024, the corridor serving as an exit access in the rear of the workplace was partially blocked with pallets of bread, which narrowed the usable width of the exit access to approximately 23".
