29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): a) On or about August 1, 2024, and at times prior, the employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program for employees using hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, Acetone, Superior Gold GV-5, Acrylic Seaming Adhesive, Denatured Alcohol, Dry-Treat Stain Proof, Superior Stone Products respirable crystalline silica from cutting, and grinding silica containing materials. This exposed employees to the hazards associated with those chemicals including, but not limited to, flammable liquid and vapor, skin irritation, respiratory irritation, allergic skin reaction, serious eye damage, carcinogenicity and specific target organ toxicity.
