29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about 08/07/2024, employees were exposed to caught-in-between hazards while working at the manufacturing facility located at 1400 Vance Road in Mexico, MO. Employees remove debris from conveyor rollers which were not equipped with a guard to prevent their hands from entering into the danger zone.

29 CFR 1910.147(d)(2): An orderly shutdown of machine or equipment was not utilized to avoid any additional or increased hazards to employees as a result of equipment stoppage: On or about 08/07/2024, employees were exposed to caught-in-between hazards while working at the manufacturing facility located at 1400 Vance Road in Mexico, MO. Employees remove debris from conveyor rollers weekly which was not turned off or shut down prior to servicing line eleven conveyor rollers.
