29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) Klumm Bros Excavating & Demolition; on or about August 12, 2024, at the address of 130 Apple Creek Toledo, OH 43612. The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from head injury hazards by protective hardhats while working on the ground, as employees above installed masonry blocks from a scaffolding system. Employees operating in this condition were exposed to struck by injuries from falling/flying objects such as tools and building materials.
