29 CFR  1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized:  a)Olson Oil Co. dba Blue Tide Car Wash at 4801 South Sycamore Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57108: On and about and at times prior to August 22, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from impact or impulse noise exceeding 140 dbA.  Employee performing work in the vicinity of the Blower Room was exposed to noise levels of 143.5 dbA without effective administrative or engineering controls being utilized. This condition exposed employees to noise hazards.

This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.   b)Olson Oil Co. dba Blue Tide Car Wash at 4801 South Sycamore Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57108: On and about and at times prior to August 13, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a  drum of Sonny's Car Wash Cerabond, a corrosive chemical recognized as a  Category 1 serious eye irritation/damage having specific organ toxicity, was appropriately labeled, tagged or marked. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.
