29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways: On or above August 15, 2024, at 28799 S, Dixie Hwy,, Homestead, Florida, an employee was exposed to 19-foot-fall hazards while using an exterior staircase without a stair-rail system to access the second floor of the building; the employee was not trained by the employer to recognize and avoid the hazards associated with the use of stairways.
