OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while utilizing an unsecured ladder.  a) Hudson Egg Farms LLC, 1812 State Route 5, Elbridge, New York 13060, Manure Barn: On or about August 15, 2024, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard when accessing the conveyor via a Louisville Ladder Inc, L-3022 24-foot fiberglass extension ladder that was not positioned or secured to prevent displacement.  The employee was approximately 15 feet above the ground surface and fell onto a pile of chicken manure and rolled down to the ground surface.
