29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) At Lots 73 - 80 Magnolia Circle, Palmetto Cove, Palmetto, Georgia: On August 16, 2024, and at times prior; the employer exposed the employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer did not enforce the employees to wear eye protection while operating pneumatic nail guns while installing deck board on the trust of the roof. The Gallegos Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1662462, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 532 - 544 Magnolia Circle, Palmetto, Ga 30268. The Gallegos Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1748402, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 7391 Cranleigh St, Convington, Ga 30014.
