29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system. Location: 500 Great East Neck Rd, West Babylon, NY 11704 On or about 08/21/2024, The employees were exposed to falling 25ft - 30ft while installing flashing around the edge of a flat school roof. The employees were not protected from falling to the ground below. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
