29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Glandt Roofing, L.L.C.  The employer did not ensure employees are protected from elevated fall hazards. The condition was observed on or about 21 August 2024, when three employees were observed roofing a commercial building at 159 Roelker Road in Wright City, Missouri. The employer did not utilize guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. Three employees were observed working on the roof of the building, at heights of approximately 11 feet and greater above the ground, without fall protection and thus were exposed to fall hazards.
