29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: At the commercial facility located at 4722 Pear Street in Saint Joseph, Missouri 64503, on or about August 21, 2024: The employer did not ensure that all surfaces including microwaves, kitchen tables, and lockers where the employees take their breaks and clean up, were maintained as free as practicable from the accumulation of lead dust. Employees were exposed to ingestion and inhalation of lead dust in the areas deemed as clean.

29 CFR 1926.62(i)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that change areas were equipped with separate storage facilities for protective work clothing and equipment and for street clothes, that would prevent cross-contamination: At the commercial facility located at 4722 Pear Street in Saint Joseph, Missouri 64503, on or about August 21, 2024: The employer did not ensure that the lockers had separate clean and dirty sides to prevent cross contamination. Employees were exposed to ingestion and inhalation of lead dust in the areas designated as clean. The clean lockers were above the dirty lockers in the same area.
