29 CFR 1926.453(a)(2): Aerial lifts were "field modified" for uses other than those intended by the manufacturer, the modification had not been certified in writing by the manufacturer or by any other equivalent entity. Modification did not conform with all applicable provisions of ANSI A92.2-1969. a) On or about 8/22/2024 at the site located at 132 Northern Lights Plaza, Syracuse, NY: An employee used a modified JLG Boom Lift (model 800 AJ, Serial # 0300245061) to lift a beam into the dumpster without obtaining certification for the modification from the manufacturer or equivalent entity.
