OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees by exposing employees to crushing and/or caught-between hazards.  Bulkeley High School, 300 Wethersfield Avenue, Hartford, CT, construction renovation project: On, or about, August 27, 2024, several sheets of glass pane tipped over inside a glass crate that was place on an uneven surface while the employees were uncrating as part of performing glazier installation activities exposing them to crushing and/or caught-between hazards. Glass crate was not placed on a leveled surface to properly wedge and/or block the glass crate in accordance with glass crate handling procedures when uncrating.
