29 CFR  1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity:  On or about August 28, 2024, at 180 8th Ave. South, Naples, Florida, an employee was exposed to a 5 -foot fall hazard when using a supported scaffold while painting a new residential exterior wall where a competent person did not inspect the scaffolding for visible defects before using it.

29 CFR  1926.451(f)(15): Ladders were used on scaffolds to increase the working level height of employees without satisfying the criteria of subparagraphs (i) - (iv) of this paragraph:  On or about August 28, 2024, at 180 8th Ave. South, Naples, Florida, an employee was exposed to a foot-fall- hazards when using a 4-foot step (A-Frame) ladder to increase the working level heigh while painting a new residential exterior wall from a scaffold platform.
