OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees who were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards from underhung hoists:  a) On or about August 28, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards from the hoists that were in regular use and were not inspected frequently to ensure they were in safe working order. The balancer to hold the hoist pendant was broken and the pendant wire was too long, and employees had to wrap the controller around their hand. Also, the warning label on the pendant controller was ripped making the bottom of the warning label illegible, and a tag line was installed to pull the load and hoist along the gantry.
