29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employees working from an aerial lift:  (a) South Side of Building - An employee entered a JLG aerial lift basket from the first building level above grade and operated the lift to bring the basket to grade level and to reposition the lift under the building's first level.  The employee did not wear a harness and did not have a lanyard attached to the boom or basket, exposing the employee to falling up to 14 feet 10 inches, on or about August 29, 2024.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
