29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 14609 Josephine St., Thornton, CO: On or about September 3, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 20 feet to the ground below while conducting roofing activities on an existing residential home. The employer failed to provide training on items such as, but not limited to; nature of fall hazards in the work area; correct procedures for inspecting the fall protection systems to be used; use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other protection to be used; limitations on the use of mechanical equipment during the performance of roofing work.
