Note: The following appendices to subpart M of this part serve as non-mandatory guidelines to assist employers in complying with the appropriate requirements of subpart M of this part. [59 FR 40738, Aug. 9, 1994; 60 FR 5131, Jan. 26, 1995] 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(5): Each employee on the face of formwork or reinforcing steel was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8 m) or more to lower levels by personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, or positioning device systems: a) On or about August 27, 2024, at the jobsite, where an employee was installing wingnuts onto a wall form at the height greater than 6 feet above the ground without fall protection.
