29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a.  On or about September 5, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees using pneumatic nail guns did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with eye injuries.  Saul Sepulveda dba Saul Sepulveda Cabada was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1708165, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 9, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 8557- 8571 Scheer Dr., TINLEY PARK, IL 60487.

On or about September 05, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations, twenty-five (25') feet above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.  Saul Sepulveda dba Saul Sepulveda Cabada was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1708165, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 09, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 8557- 8571 Scheer Dr., TINLEY PARK, IL 60487.
