OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard from a steel pipe cap/plug that released under pressure on the end of eight-inch water main pipe.   Worksite: On or about September 6, 2024, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazard while removing an eight-inch water main pipe cap/plug that was under pressure. The cap/plug struck the employee in the leg causing serious injuries.
