29 CFR 1910.157(g)(2):The educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting was not provided to all employees upon initial employment, and at least annually thereafter: a. On or about September 9, 2024, the employer failed to provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting upon initial employment and at least annually thereafter, when an employee had not received fire extinguisher training since March 2, 2023. b. On or about September 9, 2024, the employer failed to provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting upon initial employment and at least annually thereafter, when an employee had not received fire extinguisher since their initial employment in March 2024.
