When the presence of any such substances was apparent or suspected, the employer did not perform testing and purging to eliminate the hazard before demolition was started:  On or about August 19, 2024, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while demolition activities on a 50% Baume Caustic tank and the employer did not ensure that testing and purging of the lines was conducted prior to starting the demolition.
