The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided: On or about September 9, 2024, it was observed that employees performing food preparation activities in the kitchen of J.T.K. L.L.C., doing business as JTK Cuisine & Cocktails, located at 201 North 7th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska were exposed to slip and fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure the floor was dry free from water puddles in the dish washing area and slippery/greasy walking surfaces throughout.

29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4): Outlet devices had an ampere rating less than the load being served: On or about September 10, 2024, it was observed that employees engaged in food preparation in the kitchen of J.T.K. L.L.C. doing business as JTK Cuisine & Cocktails were exposed to fire and burn hazards in that employees operated/powered equipment plugged into the 15 ampere Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor relocatable power tap that was rated less than the total amperage of the load being served. Equipment included but was not limited to simultaneous operation/powering of the Vitamix household food preparation machine (11.5 amperes) with the Robot Coupe Food Processor (7.2 amperes), Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer (550 watts (4.58 amperes), and/or Cabela's Carnivore Commercial-Grade 3/4 Horsepower Meat Grinder (550 watts (4.58 amperes)) and charging of at least one cellular device.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket): On or about September 10, 2024, it was documented that employees performing food preparation activities in the kitchen of J.T.K. L.L.C., doing business as JTK Cuisine & Cocktails, located at 201 North 7th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska were exposed to fire and electrical shock and burn hazards in that employees did not ensure portable cord and plug equipment including, but not limited to the Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer was inspected prior to use.
