29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At a commercial construction site located at 2 E 59th St, Kansas City, Missouri. An employee was exposed fall hazards from standing on the ledge of a roof with a parapet wall, approximately 15 feet to the north and 13 feet to the south of the ledge to the surface below without personal fall arrest systems, or guardrail systems.
