29 CFR 1910.125(f)(2)(ii): Vapor area(s) were not provided with an automatic fire-extinguishing system that conformed to the requirements of subpart L of this part: Heat Treat Area: On, or about, September 17, 2024, an automatic fire suppression system was not provided on the Dow internal quench batch furnace. The quench tank had a calculated capacity of 960 gallons and a surface area of 42.7 square feet. Abatement Note: Compliance with 29 CFR 1910.125(f)(3) may also be an acceptable abatement method.
