29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. 255 Beaumont Highway, Lebanon, CT residential roofing project: On or about September 18, 2024, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet from the eave of the roof to the ground while performing roofing work activities without fall protection on a 12/12 pitch roof. Hernan Roofing and Siding, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1472880, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1-A and was affirmed as a Final Order on 07/20/2020, with respect to a residential roofing project located on 34 Patriot Drive, Danbury, CT 06810.
