29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of silver listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 0.010mg/m3: a) Pyromet, LLC located at 5 Commerce Drive, Aston, PA: The employer did not protect employees from airborne concentrations of silver listed in Table Z-1 in excess of 0.01 milligrams per cubic meter as an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration. A caster operator was exposed to 0.0280 mg/m3 of an airborne concentration of silver for an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) during a 268 minutes occupational exposure, which was 2.80 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 0.010 mg/m3. Violation occurred on/about February 24, 2025. b) Pyromet, LLC located at 5 Commerce Drive, Aston, PA: The employer did not protect employees from airborne concentrations of silver listed in Table Z-1 in excess of 0.01 milligrams per cubic meter as an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration. A furnace operator was exposed to 0.0135mg/m3 of an airborne concentration of silver for an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) during a 258 minutes occupational exposure, which was 1.35 times the OSHA PEL of 0.010 mg/m3. Violation occurred on/about February 24, 2025. c) Pyromet, LLC located at 5 Commerce Drive, Aston, PA: The employer did not protect employees from airborne concentrations of silver listed in Table Z-1 in excess of 0.01 milligrams per cubic meter as an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration.
