29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501. On or about September 17, 2024, at the northside of the apartment building complex, an employee on an apartment building roof was not in use of fall protection while performing framing work and was 6 feet or more above a lower level. Jose Ayala was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1653795, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9554 S. Twenty Mile Rd. , Bld 4., and 9540 S. Twenty Mile Rd., Bld 1, Parker, CO 801134 .

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about September 19, 2024, and at times prior, at the northside of the apartment building complex, employees on an apartment building roof were not trained in the recognition of fall hazards and the procedures to follow to minimize fall hazards while performing framing work at 6 feet or more above a lower level.
