29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At 13890 Antler Hill Road, Lot 128 Biltmore, Loxley, Alabama: On September 23, 2024; the employer allowed his employee to perform roofing activities without fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 10 feet 8 inches to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) At 13890 Antler Hill Road, Lot 128 Biltmore, Loxley, Alabama: On August 23, 2024; the employer allowed his employee to use an extension ladder to gain access to the roof and the rails of the ladder did not extend three feet above the roof landing to provide safe access exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 10 feet 8 inches to the ground below.
